Prime Mover / malignant processor
Corporal Motion / neo-neuro-configuration
Tabularly splayed
Like a fish vivisected in numbers
Figures of once holy origin
Configured to occult meaning
Blood replaced by ichor
As the glyphs crown with power and reset the I
Every last organ bubbles
Membrane walls vanish
As the cells are stormed like feudal halls
A trophic blade of circuitry
Stims the endocrine to new feedback
forever looping in the God-board
Ascent
Cascade
Digital depression
Existential programming
Forever sprawling lines of data
Constitution of human
Anthropomorphic computer
Complex structures tabled
Divinity in the figures
Not one error afforded

For some reason, the album cover always makes me think this is something totally different to what it really is. So I'm always pleasantly surprised when I am reminded that it's outstanding moody black metal. Jarak

Aquilus took a decade off and came back like he never left! Bellum I is yet another piece of beautiful melodic black metal mixed with classical and folk that makes you wanna dance naked in a forest somewhere. The natural sounding production increases the atmosphere heavily. Griseus is a monumental black metal album for me but Bellum I isn't far behind. Can't wait for II! Ryan
